Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it. —William Feather
Are you taking time to stop and enjoy the best things in your life? The smiles of your children after each little accomplishment? The first crocus in your Spring flowerbed? The stunning sunset God tossed out there for your enjoyment?
We are blessed with so many little miracles every day, but most of us have stopped noticing them and/or ceased to appreciate them.
Too bad, because it’s the little things that make life worth living.
Stop what you’re doing right now. Take five minutes to hug your child. Use another five to step through your front door and notice what’s going on outside. If night is approaching, take time to appreciate the sunset—preferably with your arm around someone you love.
See…you feel happier just thinking about it. Why not do it again tomorrow?
